The Changing Nature of CSR and Philanthropic Projects: Planning Pathways for Post-COVID Era
Tushara Shankar has a master’s in social work from TISS, Mumbai with specialisation in Urban and Rural Community Development. She has 17 years of diverse experience with corporate entities, international non-profit and consulting organisation. She has played a crucial role in a Government- Corporate- Non-profit collaborative Health initiative, which marked the commencement of NRHM in Jharkhand. She has been a resource person for CINI’s 6 month programme on NGO Management and Reproductive Health and a faculty for IGNOU’s rural development graduate programme. She has to her credit a women’s empowerment programme in the Kashmir valley.
Mr. Saurabh Singh is the President of ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth. In his capacity as the President, Mr. Singh is responsible for ensuring that the activities of the Foundation are executed as per the directions of the Governing Council.
Ms. Nidhi Pundhir is Director, HCL Foundation, which is the CSR arm of HCL Technologies. In this role she also provides direction to the global CSR agenda of the company. She has set up unique and scalable institutional mechanisms that maximise the utilisation of Corporate Social Responsibility provisions towards achieving sustainable development, thus positively transforming lives of many.
Dr Dadhich has around 13 years of policy advocacy, academic and development sector experience. She is an Associate Professor at Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), a think-tank under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. Currently She is heading School of Business Environment (SoBE)- National Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility (NFCSR) and Centre for Business and Human Rights at IICA.
Mamta joined Smile Train in 2006 managing the largest program area in India. Currently she manages South Asia, Southeast Asia and MENA, comprising 19 countries. These are intricate, dissimilar and complex geographies with diverse socio-economic and cultural dynamics. Mamta has led Smile Train’s Asia team in extending both reach and impact besides creating sustainable programs, strategic partnerships and a deeper, broader integration of Smile Train’s engagements with multiple stakeholders.
