The company focuses on earning through commercial lending, consumer finance, wealth management and SME (Small and Medium Enterprises). It has its headquarters located in Pune, Maharashtra. The company has a pan India presence with 294 consumer branches and 497 branches in rural areas. The company is listed in both National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Starting their venture with financing two and three wheeler the company has come a long way in the finance sector.

Among the major CSR projects of Bajaj Finance Limited, Healthy Motherhood is a notable one. The programme focuses on promoting healthy motherhood and childhood amongst the poor section of the society. The poor or the vulnerable communities are deprived of the basic amenities required in their daily lives. One of them is proper healthcare. Due to their lesser knowledge and lack of awareness, many of them suffer from extreme health hazards especially before and after the child birth. The child mortality rate is highest among the poor. This is the result of unawareness and unavailability of proper services as they cannot afford even the minimum requirements for proper healthcare of new mothers and their child. Through this programme, the company contributed towards developing the hospital infrastructure in the rural as well as urban sectors, surgeries, medical camps for creating awareness and providing medical support to the deprived section of the society. The nutritional intervention under this project helps to provide proper diet to the children and their mothers for their healthy developments. The programme is running successfully in Sikar and Dungarpur Districts in Rajasthan. About 13 crores have been spent on this project aiming to fulfil the target of changing the lives of as many as possible.
Apart from taking care of the healthcare sector, KJB Foundation also work towards providing education and making livelihood enhancement. One such initiative is ‘Teach-to-Lead’. This initiative deals with teach for India teach Fellowship and Alumni Leadership Incubators.The company make its contribution towards providing education scholarship and fellowship for meritorious and deserving candidates. Being employed at the right age is essential to survive the present competitive world. For that they need quality education and appropriate skills that can achieve through proper training. There are many students coming from vulnerable communities who are well-competent and have a promising future ahead. But unfortunately, due to lack of resources they either fail to complete their studies or are unable to get proper skill development training. Under this programme they are supported with educational scholarship and fellowship for getting the required education and training and making them ready for employment. Along with educational intervention, the project also deals with scaling up funding, practical and technical mentoring and seed funding. This programme is successfully running in various parts of Rajasthan and Maharashtra. Over 4.5 crores have been spent to make the project a fruitful initiative. Many candidates have been hugely benefitted through this programme. The company helps to fulfil the dreams of many with this flagship programme.
