In India , even today one women gets raped every 16 minutes , more than 33% women are prone to domestic violence while 3/4 women ie around 75% women face eve teasing on daily basis ! Just just this , being burnt for dowry , women trafficking , forced prostitution are still common practices in most Asian and African countries . Women have different problems in different countries with one point in commonality - making them vulnerable and targeting them against their will .

The problem does not end here , there is a bigger problem to it which is despite the technological revolution that the entire startup ecosystem has taken this , there is no single dedicated device that can allow an average Asian / women in general to solve any of these endangered problem on their own from end to end

Shakti means power and is also the name of one of the most powerful goddesses in India and that is what the goal is - to make women realise their own power .

The change that Shakti intends to create is a complete transformation of women from victims to fighters where girls always do not require a male partner while going out at Night , a woman can board a cab at night without fearing out the driver's intention , when stuck in a situation of being attacked in any way can electrify an attacker and protect herself

Shakti Is India's first such organization with patented technology , we have been working on this project full time for 20 months as the invention involved R&D from scratch. After 18 months of labor , hard work and passion we were able to invent the wearable after failing more than 23 times . Currently we have successfully built the technology ( hardware and software ) , surveyed more than 3500 women out of which around 78% said yes to a product like Shakti , we have also executed field trials with a state government police with around 320 units , besides that - the technological trials and testing has been executed in our lab.
