Project Description

In association with the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD), Vedanta Foundation entered an MOU with DocOnline in 2021 to enable healthcare services in Rural India as its CSR initiative. DocOnline introduced a two-wheeler clinic model: Clinic on Wheels, managed by a paramedic staff hand-picked after a rigorous selection process and trained for quality healthcare delivery. Every day, the paramedic staff on two-wheeler visits NandGhars (Anganwadis) in far-flung rural villages to deliver healthcare services, including doctor consultation, medicines, and diagnostic tests.

The location tracking facility for every Clinic on Wheels helps the team ensure the safety of the women paramedic staff
  • With a focus on skilling and creating employment to deliver quality healthcare in Rural India, the project reduces inequalities in employment opportunities and improves Gender Equality for quality health care access.
