Project Description

Kitucate has partnered with various donors and NGOs as the implementing partners for the project STEP, below are a few examples:- 

  • NBG adopted 50 schools in Gujarat (delivered in Gujarati)
  • Baramati Agro limited adopted 35 schools in Maharashtra (delivered in Marathi)
  • UNM Foundation adopted 13 schools in Gujarat (Gujarati & English). 
  • Diwaliben Tarsadia Foundation adopted 100 schools in Gujarat (Gujarati & English).
  • WAAH (We All Are Humans) adopted 150 schools in Gujarat (Gujarati & English)
  • Empathy Foundation (Chheda group) adopted 35 schools in Maharashtra (Marathi)
  • Eklavya Foundation adopted 5 schools in Andhra, Telangana and Karnataka (English, Telugu, Kannada)

 

Key deliverables included:

The teacher’s training Session conducted embarked the beginning of Kitucate’s Activity-based Science Learning Program in chosen schools. More than 850 Science teachers and educators are trained. The training programs were an extremely engaging couple of days sessions wherein the teachers were driven through a series of over 70 distinct experiments covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. An insight of demonstration through the developed system of learning along with how to utilize available resources was demonstrated along with the why and how of various scientific principles. Most importantly the teachers were given ideas on how to imbibe activity-based learning without affecting the regular school learning methods. These trained teachers were certified upon the completion of the training program followed by a Kit distribution ceremony.

  • Science subject is very well covered in the kits

  • Training conducted was very well organized and gave immense learning
  • In the rural area, getting required components are difficult, well-organized kits and availability of resources will help children developing an interest in science.
  • Well-organized kits covering all aspects are helping in time management, demonstrating the concepts by performing results in front of the students.
