NBG adopted a district - 395 schools in Morbi, Gujarat (delivered in Gujarati & English). Kitucate acted as an implementing agency appointed for a project scheduled for a span of one year.

 

Scope of the project:

• Teachers training,
• Assembling and supply of curriculum-based kits,
• Manual (English and Gujarati),
• Audit, 
• Impact assessment
• Makers room setup at NGO’s place
• Science fair and competition
• Entire district was adopted and all rural schools were provided with teachers training, kits.
• These trained teachers were certified upon the completion of the training program followed by a Kit distribution ceremony.
• Makers lab was developed at the NGO-provided designated area.

 

Pre and post-training sessions feedback were conducted and below are the key feedback from the sessions about the system of learning.

• Science subject is very well covered in the kits
• Gained good knowledge in the training session.
• Training conducted was very well organized and gave immense learning
• In the rural area, getting required components are difficult, well-organized kits and availability of resources will help children developing an interest in science.
• Well-organized kits covering all aspects are helping in time management, demonstrating the concepts by performing results in front of the students.

 

The science learning ecosystem was changed of an entire district. A science fair was organized wherein Students demonstrated their projects. Few highlights of the demonstrated projects were

• Delivered the contents in local languages (Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, English)
• Last mile delivery ensuring the invested money provides the desired output and success of the program.
