Hindupur, in Andhra Pradesh is one of the most backward areas due to drought and perennial water shortage. The major aim of the project was to render healthcare services to 2000 workers of the industrial area of Hindupur through a health clinic where patients will have access to doctor and a nurse regularly. Special focus has been given to awareness generation on health issues along with organizing health camps for the benefits of agricultural labourers, workers, women and children in 9 villages. Effort to make health officials accountable and functional has been initiates through advocacy programs in the villages.

Special Features: The area is drought prone with lack of access to perennial water source and is one of the most back ward areas. The project has helped improving the health status of the nearby communities.
