This activity has been carrying out in different parts of Assam with academic institutions, community groups, local NGOs, etc.  This is a plantation drive with a difference. Here,  we plant a sapling only if we could nurture it. We give utmost importance on mutual understanding with community/ institutions/ individuals for rearing a sapling. After plantation, at a regular interval, our officials monitor the sampling and keep in touch with them which helps the respective people to nurture the tree. We specially care about the followings - 

• We always prefer native/indigenous saplings and suitability of the place.
• Provide fencing. 
• Keep in touch with the collaborators or who have planted saplings for one year to ensure the survival of the saplings.
• Provide new saplings to replace damaged or dead ones.
• Appreciate the noble work one year later based on the survival of saplings.

• More than 1000 saplings were planted so far 
• The rate of survival of the saplings are 90%
• The students are very much motivated to do the nurture work of the plants
• Community engagement is noticeable.
• It meets the Sustainable Development Goal 4, 13 and 15
