OES is proposing to set up Model Skill Development Centers “Kaushal Kendra” in Hub & Spoke Model to create employment and self-employment through Vocational Training and sustainable livelihood program to 2500 marginalised youth based on the fresh and future demands.

Orion with NPCI have implemented skill training in Model Skill Development Centers “Kaushal Kendra” in Chhattisgarh in Hub & Spoke Model at District Level & Board level covering the villages of respective district. With the aim to create employment and self-employment opportunities through Vocational Training and sustainable livelihood program to 2500 marginalised youth based on the fresh and future demands.

Mobilization:
Mobilization of youths in Career Training programs has always been strength of Orion. We are using effective mechanism, innovative tools and existing infrastructure to improve the outreach of the program. This is done through an interactive atmosphere within the localities where the youth reside by our well-trained and experienced team with the help of district representation and related departments. Global pandemic has unprecedented impact on the marginalised youth and low-income groups who were already experiencing challenges in accessing the various employment & training opportunities. For the ease of taking up training opportunities will play an important role. In current scenario, traditional mobilization methods might not meet the expectation and there is need to use various high-tech, low-tech and no-tech solutions given the large digital divide that exists.
