Project Description
The project is executed in four steps. First a preliminary research / feasibility study is conducted where volunteers identify a community and conduct education awareness drive in communities with parents. The aim of this activity is to make parents aware about importance of education and getting a buy in from the community members to start an education center within the community.
After preliminary research we rent a teaching space within or nearby the communities’ dwellings to provide skill training and education to the children. We always make sure that teaching space is easily accessible to community members.
Third step is to recruit qualified educators to provide education, keeping in mind teacher student ratio of 1:5.
Finally we roll out our activities keeping various verticals in mind which are strengthening academics and fundamentals, creating awareness about hygiene and nutrition, skill development and vocational training.
Adopt a learning center and create an impact 40 children at one go. It provides:
- Easy access to our learning centers reduces transportation issues.
- Having learning center within the community increases trust factor among parents, kids and Shwas.
