Our integrated daycare centers provide meaningful day-long engagement to the elderly belonging to low-income groups. Currently, we operate three centers - each in Bangalore, Chennai, and Mumbai. We are keen to scale up this program to new geographies as well.

Our centers are staffed with a coordinator and they operate from Monday to Friday, following a pre-set routine of engagement activities with daily nutritional drinks and mid-day meals. These centers act as an institution for building social capital and networks on which the senior citizens can depend. 

Institutionalizing a daycare center model is an effort toward providing a dedicated geriatric infrastructure with a community-centric approach that will promote the uptake of the interventions, deliver actionably and targeted messaging, and therefore render sustainability. Our overarching objectives are to provide reliable access to food and nutrition, access to physical and psychosocial health services, enhance knowledge of their rights and entitlements as well as enable elderly-led livelihood generation.

• Our program is aligned with SDG 2 (Hunger and food security), SDG 3 (Healthy lives and well-being), SDG 8 (Sustained, inclusive economic growth), and SDG 16 (Inclusive societies that promote amity, justice, and sustainable development).
• We provide access to food and nutrition and physical & psychological health services.
• We also conduct knowledge-building and skill-building sessions, training, and workshops to enable members to engage in self-employment and revenue-generating activities.
• We provide them with access to adequate food and nutrition by providing daily nutritious drinks and a wholesome, unlimited mid-day meal.
• We regularly host festival celebrations and mark important days as well as organize one-day picnics.
