A teacher who couldn’t bear to see her students walk miles to get to school provided bus passes and shoes from her own pocket. She took interest in her students well being, checking on them and visiting parents of students who missed school. This teacher who went the extra mile for her wards inspired PURE to say “yes” to transforming the school into a model school. 

The school with no windows, doors, compound wall, gate and not enough classrooms is now looked up to for not just its infrastructure but for the teaching methods as well.

Pure has impacted around 650 government schools in Telangana and Andhra pradesh with respect to infrastructure and overall development for students requirement.
