At Spark Minda, In order to address the changing climate, various methods have been adopted by the Group to deal with the changing times in order to protect the environment. Our continuous efforts to function sustainably and to protect the environment include tree plantation and paper-saving efforts, energy-saving practices to reduce our impact on the climate, shifting to renewable energy through the installation of solar panels. Solar panel  is installed and the practice of 3R – reduce, reuse, recycle has been adopted to deal with water and materials.

These are the major programs that help to fulfill the organisation’s mission to work for the people and provide a holistic approach for the development of society.

Spark Minda has also released its first ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) report for the FY 2020-21 and is in the process of releasing its second ESG report. 

During FY 2020-21, Spark Minda conserved around 10,458 GJ of energy, 34% of water has been recycled and 10,467 GJ of renewable energy was generated through solar panels installed in the factories.

The team has shown immense progress in the Electric Vehicle (EV) space as well, by setting up an in-house R&D facility for EV solutions that are high in quality, scalable and cost-effective.
