Shri Naresh Raut Foundation have come forward with a unique idea to help the society in this Covid epidemic situation. In this we will be screening the patients with symptoms similar to covid 19 like

• Fever Cough
• Cold
• Bodyache
• Conjunctivitis
• Running nose

These symptoms are often seen in many viral fevers. As such the key point will be to distinguish it from covid. We will be screening these patients which have similar symptoms and get their history and treat them with the basic treatment and if required advise them for their isolation under our observation. After 7 days if we notice their symptoms are improving then we can leave them or if symptoms worsens then take them to the government hospital. Alongside we will also be educating the people as to not to panic in case you have a cough, cold or fever. We shall inform them as to how to take care of themselves and the society.  The patient with such symptoms should isolate him from the beginning itself irrespective of the diagnosis. This will prevent the spread if at all the patient is diagnosed positive after 7 days. All this exercise by the Shri Naresh Raut Foundation will help the government to collect the data regarding the infected patients. We shall create awareness among the masses by properly educating them in the said matter. The announcement during campaigning will be that only those patients with cough, cold & fever should come and get tested and treated for free.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A mobile dispensary van is taken to a select locality and stationed in a public space, with an announcer roaming around that area to spread information about the medical van’s location and timings for people to visit and consult the doctor to get basic medications as per their requirements.A patient can also call on a given number and ask for the van to provide service in a specific area, followed by the van with an onboard doctor and basic medications and equipment reaching the spot for further assistance.

“Apart from basic checkups and consultations, we also refer the patients to the government hospital if we find any COVID-19 like symptoms.Also, if the patient has some other illness and cannot go to the hospital, we will provide medicines for them.

TARGET AREA

Initially, this facility will be provided in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra,This facility will be provided by Shri Naresh Raut Foundation for those who are in distress.The mobile units will check at least 100 people per day and have the strength to check for symptoms of 50 patients in a day. The service will continue until Covid-19 is completely contained.”

The beneficiaries of this project will be from the Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra.The mobile units will check at least 100 people per day and have the strength to check for symptoms of 50 patients in a day. Accordingly, in 1 year near about 30,000 people will benefit from it. Project Budget: Rs. 30, 28,800/-.
