We have implemented  WADI-project in association with NABARD . it is completed before 4 years, it was 7 years project. It was for  500 tribal families from 6 villages in Aundha block of HINGOLI District.

 
It  is need of the poor tribal families of the area to get such support to improve their economic standerd and living slandered. Wadi is very good option for them otherwise at present most of them are migrating seasonally in search of job.Developing wadies- Horticulture farming and also trying for other option of livelihood with this at their village will be definitely better option for them.

• This project aim is to provide sustainable options of livelihood like, developing Horticulture plot.
• Project was mainly with small marginal farmers (having farm below 5 acres), few landless families also were included.
• Support was given to develop farming practises, income generating units.
• With horticulture some farmers also added fishing business-where it was possible.
• Project period was 7 years from plantation to fruiting and marketing of the fruits.
