Women cover nearly half of the population and no real development is possible neglecting women. To ignore women’s role has been to harm not just women, but the entire communities and a nation because women, after all are half of the human race. To mitigate such problem Shri Naresh Raut Foundation Proposed to start the Women’s Internet, Communication and Training Center, which benefit and provide awareness of socially, economically, educationally and politically deprived and marginalized female students from Rahata Tahasil.It is the creative and the smartest platform for women, which can guarantee the positive changes in the life of especially illiterate, unskilled and uninformed women. It has integrated all three major aspects; Education, Capacity building and Information which has become fundamental needs of women to live in the 21st century.

Rahata Tahasil is located in a rural area so the Computer literacy, Internet and other facilities are rarely available for female students in different colleges from the city and surrounding areas. Students don't receive sufficient Computer practices, Internet Access and Training in available Computer infrastructure. Most of the female students are from the surrounding Village areas so they attend Colleges from Rahata city by private vehicle, bicycle or by State Transport Bus and they hurry to reach home in afternoon. These students need Computer, Internet Training at the morning session. So we plan to have a separate well furnish Women’s Internet, Communication and Training Center.

NEED FOR WOMEN’S ICT CENTER

To create a platform around issues of Gender justice, economic empowerment and equal participation in all aspects of life for women for the betterment of society, culture and country.

Rahata Tahasil situated in a rural area in Maharashtra state located in Ahmednagar District. Rahata Tahasil is surrounded by 60 Villages. All students come from the surrounding Villages and belong to Economical poor farmer families. Shri Naresh Raut Foundation plans to offer the courses and training for under graduation, female students from different streams such as Arts, Commerce, Science, Management and Computer Application. All female students are from rural area and are economically poor. They all are also educationally deprived. Female students are  from the current Internet, Information and Communication and General Knowledge. In this Global Word it is essential that we should provide the opportunity to literate them with Computer, Internet, latest Communication Technology, General Knowledge and also Digital Education. Students are eager to learn Internet and Communication Technology based Digital Education.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Without the active participation of women and the incorporation of women’s perspectives in all levels of decision- making, the goals of equality, development and peace cannot be achieved. Shri

 Naresh Raut Foundation has strategies to support women to organize peer groups and mobilize community resources and public services, including women’s health services, education, and welfare.

Our prime objectives behind these projects are as follows.

• To have Awareness about   Information Technology and it’s Applications.
• To have Women’s  Education, with modern Technology
• To promote employment oriented vocation skills and training to the adolescent girls and women from the community
• To encourage self-employment by providing related training and exposure visits

• This project will be executed in a rural area which would help the female students to learn more about the computers as in rural areas girls or women’s are not send far for studying
• As there is no computer institute in this area it will help a lot in this region.
• As it’s a rural area money is the biggest aspect for the people in this area. This institute gives free computer classes. So it would inspire the people in this area.
