AWSS has already completed 2 DDU-GKY Project and presently they are running the third DDU-GKY project. The main objective of this programme is to skill the unskilled rural youths to give them skill training and provide them placements so that they can make an identity for them and earn a living for them. Organization has provided them training in various trades like Hospitality, Industrial Sewing Machine Operators, Electrical, Finisher and Checker. After training they are placed in different sectors related to Hospitality, ISMO, and Electrical etc. Candidates are placed at KFC, BARBEQUE NATION, CLUB MAHINDRA, AMRI HOSPITALS, LV PRASAD EYE HOSPITAL, CARE HOSPITALS and many more. Recently few of candidates have been awarded as the “Skill Icon” by DDU-GKY(MORD),Karnataka Govt and ORMAS. So far 2000 youth have been trained & 1450 have been placed under this program
