Project Description

Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development for any country. Divya Jyoti Shiksha Samiti aims to skill people as per the industry standards. To accomplish the objectives of skilling they have established skill development centers under government or Non-government align skilling schemes. Their diligent and dedicated approach to skills has made them accredited training partner to National Skill Development Corporation ( NSDC), Government of India. Working on skill development across the country, their aim is to provide placements to 20,000 skilled youth for 7 years. This initiative is in line with the same intention wherein they are trying to provide access to the available opportunities of skill development to the marginalized & unemployed youth so that they gain employable skills and thereafter are gainfully employed.

 

In order to achieve the goal further, Skill Development Centers will be opened across the country by the organization.The sectors where the organization has been accreditation by the National Skill Development Corporation ( NSDC ) are as follows: IT, Retail, Telecom, Health, Electronics & Hardware, BFSI, Media & Entertainment, Automotive, Apparel, Electrical, Agriculture, Beauty & Wellness, Construction, Capital Goods, Handicrafts, Food Processing, Domestic Workers & Logistics Sector Skills Council. This program provides training, support and guidance for all occupations that were of traditional type like carpenters, cobblers, welders, blacksmiths, masons, nurses, tailors, weavers, etc.

Special Features of Project

  • The emphasis is to skill the youths in such a way so that they get employment and also improve entrepreneurship.
  • Skill the people and generate a sustainable employment so that their livelihood becomes better.
  • Need-based programmes would be initiated for specific age groups which can be like language and communication skills, life and positive thinking skills, personality development skills, management skills, behavioural skills, including job and employability skills.
  • Provide the skill development training in rural areas where students are deprived from education.
