The digital open mobile classroom initiative by Empowering Millions Foundation, is an innovative scalable, sustainable, and low-cost approach, providing access to training opportunities and educational resources at the grassroots levels. This initiative aims to support areas with limited internet connectivity and exposure to e-learning.
In collaboration with the Anil Aggarwal Foundation, Empowering Millions Foundation successfully organized a training session on menstrual hygiene management for frontline health workers. The session took place on February 2nd and 3rd, 2023, in Garhmukhteshwar, Hapur, Uttar Pradesh.
A total of 53 frontline health workers, including Anganwadi workers (AWWs), ASHA Workers, and ANMs, participated in two batches. Tablets were used to access the menstrual hygiene e-learning course, and the participants were also introduced to the concept of digital learning. District Programme Officer (DPO)-ICDS, Hapur, Child Development Programme Officer (CDPO), Gurhmukhteshwar, ICDS Supervisor, Gurhmukhteshwar, and Public Health Experts were present during the session to oversee its successful implementation.
