Project Description

Lack of student engagement and the unavailability of offline digital content were the two key barriers to student learning in Army Goodwill Schools of Kashmir. Therefore, to improve student engagement, achieve improvement in learning outcomes and empower teachers to supplement their teaching, a comprehensive digital learning set up was implemented comprising of iPrep Digital Class, iPrep Digital Library on tablets and iPrep for learning at home.

Both the iPrep Digital Class and the tablet are preloaded with enjoyable digital content on Pen Drives and SD cards, respectively aligned with J&K Board in both Hindi and English Medium for classes 1st to 12th.

Further, as the implementation was at the time of Covid, we also gave students access to the iPrep to ensure continuity in learning from the safety of their homes. We shared iPrep with students through a network of teachers who guided the students to download iPrep on their parent's smartphones and learn from home. This way, continuity in student learning was enabled during the covid-induced lockdown.
