L&T and MMI partnered to engage 100 beneficiaries in Powai area. In Powai, we picked Green Lawns High School and Vidya (NGO) as beneficiary partners. We recruited 100 mentors through our mentor partners and trained them to guide their mentees through a socio-emotional learning curriculum. Our team's Program Coordinator monitored their progress throughout the 18 months and conducted trainings, group-mentoring sessions to help the mentor-mentee pairs in their journey. L&T was an immensely supportive partner and attended multiple trainings and was an integral part of the success. 

Mentor Me India enables meaningful mentoring journeys between children from disadvantaged communities and mentors who are chosen from different walks of life. Some features of a project are:

• Mentor Me India focuses on holistic development of children. We have uniquely identified 4 outcomes of Socio-emotional Learning through research and experience in the last five years. 
• MI assigns a Program Coordinator who plays of a role of a relationship manager identifying needs of each child and working closely with the mentor to help achieve goals. 
• Our curriculum based on Socio-Emotional Learning is designed through activities understanding psychological needs to children from the age of 9-14. 
• Our impact has been holistic and has indirectly increased school attendance, improved literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to aspire for better.
