acSELerate’s mission is to enable girls from underserved backgrounds to become emotionally resilient, socially capable, and make informed choices. 

 The Gap

• 40 % of girl children from low-income backgrounds have difficulties with self-esteem and mental health
• 80% of girl children with mental health issues don’t have access to reporting and counseling
• 60% of girl children with mental health issues dropout of school

 Our Approach:

• Dedicated ‘safe’ space in schools for students to engage with teachers and peers without fear
• Fully technology-enabled with a 51 inches smart TV and Yearly internet subscription.
• Age-appropriate curriculum and experiential tools based on SEL and mental health
• Direct engagement and counseling of parents and caregivers
• Training of teachers and school administrators on mental health and counseling

• Expertise is in program design, curriculum development, teacher training, implementation and assessment of social-emotional learning (SEL) and life skills in school environments
• Our program ‘acSELerate’ is the only SEL based program in India that effectively integrates a systemic, multi-stakeholder approach to social-emotional learning
• In 2021, our program ‘acSELerate’ was selected in the top 13 impactful and scalable SEL programs globally by hundrED and The Lego Foundation.
