Aarogya Rath is an initiative that focuses on improving the health status of the targeted underprivileged population. The Mobile Health Unit provides free medical healthcare services and medicines for the populations living in remote, inaccessible, un-served and underserved areas at their doorsteps. The project targets the population which includes Pregnant and Lactating women, Infants, Children, Youth, Geriatric population, etc. The project is being conducted in phases. Till now, the project has covered more than 2500 beneficiaries, 12 villages of Dholpur district, Rajakhera Block, Rajasthan in the past 6 months.  

The objectives of the programs are as mentioned below:

• To increase the access to primary, preventive, promotive and curative healthcare services amongst the targeted beneficiaries.
• To raise awareness on basic healthcare and hygiene amongst the communities and develop positive health seeking behaviour amongst them.
• To create and capacitate the cadre of the community health workers for sustainable health outcomes.
