Manjari’s active involvement and strong hold in Dholpur since inception has resulted in transforming the conditions of communities on several facets of human development indices. IPE Global was looking for an implementing partner for the Udaan Project in Dholpur region and Manjari as an organization qualified for the role of implementing partner of Udaan project in the region. This resulted in the collaboration and the project was implemented in 2017. Under the Udaan Project MF is working and using the Human-Centred Design approach, that will enable unmarried adolescents to identify sexual and reproductive health issues, prevent risky behaviours, and seek services to improve their sexual and reproductive health. Their partners in this project, CIFF (Children Investment Fund Foundation), IPE Global and Education department government of Rajasthan. All of them have been working closely for last two years and conducted research and now implementing the final program. During the research phase, they have tested various tools with different groups (adolescent boys and girls, their parents, Health Service Providers, Medical Stores, Private Doctors, Teachers, RKSK Counsellors etc.) and also conducted various activities during FGDs to understand their mind set on issues related to sexual and reproductive health of adolescents. They are implementing the program in 258 Govt. Senior Secondary Schools of Dholpur and impacting lives of 25000 children. They are conducting different sessions with adolescent boys and girls of standard 9th to 12th.
