Promoting livelihoods and self-reliance, PURE provides support to those who can use help in starting a small business, social enterprise or self-help groups. The idea is to empower parents to take care of their children's needs instead of PURE helping the kids. Persons with disabilities are also supported through the livelihoods program. Securing sustainable livelihoods for families wading through the hardships they suddenly find themselves in and also encouraging local communities to be a part of the support system is what PURE Livelihoods works towards.

Pure has given hope for 136 livelihoods in which they are either effected physically, mentally and financially.

1) Convenience store- Ashwini lost her husband to the financial impact of the agrarian crisis. PURE helped set up a kirana store in her native village.

2) Tea Stall- Narsimha Rao lost his limbs in a road accident. PURE supported him by setting up a petty business selling tea and snacks.

3)  Accessories Store- Rasheeda was born with physical disability in her lower limbs. An enterprising young woman, PURE helped setting up a small business selling bangles and other accessories to earn a living.

4) Biodegradable plates- The women of Devunigudem in interior Nirmal district have the desire to better their children’s lives by bringing in additional income to the household through selling biodegradable plates and cups. PURE helped with ten specialized sewing machines and die/mould.
