Project Description
In collaboration with the HCL Samuday foundation, JRF is training 680 women in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, under the WELL (women empowerment through livelihood and leadership development).
The main objective of this project is to create non-farm livelihood/alternative livelihood opportunities for 680 beneficiaries, through Hand-Knotted carpet weaving skill development. The first phase of the project began on February 1st, 2021, with 352 trainees, and the second phase on 1st May 2021 with 256 trainees.
