The project adopts a preventive health care approach under RMNCH+A and will be a follow a life cycle approach to strengthen health and nutrition interventions in three critical stages of life-childhood, adolescence and women of reproductive age. It ensures to establish and/or strengthen sustainable community-based partnerships between government service providers, local self-government (PRIs) and the community, to ensure not only services to be child and woman friendly, but also where they are the main stakeholders, empowered through knowing their rights and entitlements to participate in every aspect of the social development process. The entire project will contribute to and strengthen the programs under RMNCH+A of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
