Job Position: Field Coordinator – First Aid Training

Location: Ahmedabad

No. of Positions: 2

CTC: ₹ 3.00 - 3.50 (Depending on the relevant experience)

Role Overview

BharatCares is looking for a Field Coordinator – First Aid Training who will be responsible for conducting First Aid awareness and training sessions in schools across Ahmedabad, while also supporting the coordination and smooth execution of field activities.

The role requires someone who is street-smart, confident, proactive, comfortable interacting with students and school staff, and willing to travel extensively across Ahmedabad. The candidate should preferably know how to drive and be comfortable managing field visits independently.

Key Responsibilities

First Aid Training & Sessions

• Conduct First Aid awareness and training sessions for students, teachers, and school staff.
• Deliver training modules, demonstrations, and practical activities as per the programme requirements.
• Explain basic First Aid practices, emergency response, and safety protocols in a simple and engaging manner.
• Facilitate interactive sessions and address participants' queries.
• Support pre- and post-training assessments and collect participant feedback.

Field Coordination

• Coordinate and execute school visits and training schedules across Ahmedabad.
• Coordinate with schools, teachers, coordinators, and other relevant stakeholders for smooth conduct of sessions.
• Ensure timely reporting and completion of assigned field activities.
• Maintain daily field visit records, attendance, session details, photographs, and other required documentation.
• Ensure training materials and equipment are available and properly managed during field sessions.

Field Operations

• Travel independently to different schools and programme locations across Ahmedabad.
• Manage day-to-day field-level requirements and resolve operational challenges on the ground.
• Coordinate with the project team regarding schedules, requirements, challenges, and progress.
• Represent BharatCares professionally while interacting with schools and other stakeholders.
• Support other programme activities as required.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking to and engaging with school students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Street-smart and practical approach to handling field situations.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple field visits in a day.
• Comfortable with extensive travel across Ahmedabad.
• Driving skills and a valid driving licence will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of First Aid is preferred; training/certification in First Aid will be an added advantage.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.
• Comfortable using smartphones, WhatsApp, Google Forms/Sheets, and other basic digital tools.
• Willingness to work in a field-oriented role with flexible schedules as required by programme activities.

Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; candidates with relevant vocational/training qualifications may also be considered.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in field coordination, training, community engagement, school programmes, First Aid, safety training, or a similar field-based role.
• Freshers with strong communication skills, confidence, and willingness to work extensively in the field may also be considered.
