About the Position

The Sr. Manager – Purpose Economy (Asia Region) will anchor CSRBOX’s engagement with philanthropic organizations and individual philanthropists across India and the Asia region, helping build a strong network of like-minded institutions committed to collaborative development action.

The role will focus on building partnerships, identifying collaborative opportunities, and enabling technology-enabled and multi-stakeholder initiatives in key thematic areas:

• Climate resilience and sustainability
• Employability and workforce development
• Women’s livelihoods and entrepreneurship

The incumbent will also leverage their experience in philanthropy networks to strengthen the OnePurpos brand within the philanthropy ecosystem and help anchor the development of OnePurpos Hub as a collaboration layer for philanthropic and institutional partnerships.

The role will help position CSRBOX as a trusted collaboration and implementation partner for philanthropy across India and Asia.

Responsibilities

Philanthropy Partnerships & Network Development

• Build and nurture relationships with domestic and international philanthropic organizations
• Engage with family offices, individual philanthropists, and collaborative funding platforms
• Develop a structured philanthropy collaboration network anchored by CSRBOX
• Identify cross-border partnership opportunities across Asia
• Use existing philanthropy networks and experience to strengthen visibility and credibility of OnePurpos within the philanthropy ecosystem
  

Collaborative Program Development

• Conceptualize collaborative initiatives in:

1. Climate resilience
2. Workforce development
3. Women’s livelihoods

• Support development of multi-partner program concepts and proposals
• Explore technology-enabled program models and partnerships
• Identify opportunities for collaborative philanthropy models and pooled funding initiatives

OnePurpos Hub Leadership

• Support the development and activation of OnePurpos Hub as a collaboration space for philanthropic organizations and partners
• Facilitate co-creation opportunities and institutional collaborations through the Hub
• Engage philanthropic organizations in shared learning and partnership forums under OnePurpos
• Contribute to building OnePurpos as a trusted collaboration platform for the purpose economy

Ecosystem Engagement & Convenings

• Support philanthropy-focused roundtables and ecosystem convenings
• Facilitate cross-learning among philanthropic institutions
• Represent CSRBOX in philanthropy ecosystem engagements
• Strengthen CSRBOX’s positioning in the purpose economy ecosystem

Knowledge & Strategy Support

• Track philanthropy trends in India and Asia
• Map domestic and global philanthropic institutions
• Contribute to thought leadership and partnership strategy
• Support institutional collaboration opportunities

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

Candidates must have prior experience working with an organization that has exposure to both domestic and global philanthropic organizations.

This may include:

• Philanthropic foundations
• Development consulting firms
• International NGOs
• Multilateral or collaborative philanthropy platforms
