About the Position

CSRBOX is seeking a Senior Manager – GIS & Data Visualization to lead geospatial intelligence and visualization initiatives across large-scale social impact, urban development, and sustainability programs. This role demands strategic leadership, advanced technical expertise, and the ability to translate complex spatial insights into actionable decisions for governments, corporates, and philanthropic partners.

Responsibilities

1?? Strategic GIS Leadership & Spatial Intelligence

• Lead the design and execution of geospatial strategies across multiple thematic areas (water, health, education, sanitation, environment, climate resilience).
• Oversee large-scale spatial data management, ensuring accuracy, security, and scalability.
• Drive innovation in spatial modeling, predictive analytics, and geostatistical methods for policy and program design.

2?? Advanced Visualization & Decision Tool

• Architect interactive dashboards and geo-visual platforms for high-level decision-making.
• Translate complex datasets into compelling narratives for CXOs, policymakers, and global partners.
• Establish visualization standards and best practices across CSRBOX projects.

3?? Program Delivery & Impact Measurement

• Integrate GIS-driven insights into program planning, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.
• Lead spatial baseline, midline, and endline studies with advanced methodologies.
• Ensure documentation, workflows, and knowledge products are institutionalized for long-term use.

4?? Stakeholder Engagement & Thought Leadership

• Serve as the primary geospatial advisor to government departments, corporate CSR teams, and international agencies.
• Represent CSRBOX at national and global forums on GIS, sustainability, and data-driven development.
• Conduct high-impact training and capacity-building sessions for partner teams and field staff

5?? Technology, Innovation & Team Management

• Champion the use of cutting-edge geospatial tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, Google Earth Engine) and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
• Drive automation and machine learning applications in geospatial analytics (Python/R preferred).
• Mentor and manage a team of GIS analysts, data scientists, and visualization specialists.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

? Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Urban Planning, Environmental/Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 and above years of professional experience in GIS-based solutions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Proven track record of delivering geospatial solutions for large-scale development or sustainability programs.
• Strong analytical, visualization, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Added advantage: Remote sensing expertise, AI/ML applications in geospatial analytics, and experience with cloud-based geospatial platforms.
