About Earthikaa & One Purpos

Earthikaa — Inspired by the Soil is a purpose-driven marketplace platform under ImpactBox Venture Pvt. Ltd. that brings together products created by Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), cooperatives, artisan clusters, and rural enterprises across India.

The platform aims to build a new generation impact commerce ecosystem, where community-produced products reach consumers through physical stores, digital marketplaces, and corporate gifting channels.

Working closely with the One Purpos ecosystem, Earthikaa aims to build a national network of ethical sourcing, purpose-driven products, and modern retail experiences that combine impact, storytelling, and responsible consumption.

About the Position

Earthikaa is looking for an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) who will work closely with the founding team to build and scale the Earthikaa marketplace and retail ecosystem.

This role is designed for individuals with strong entrepreneurial drive, operational capability, and problem-solving mindset, who are excited to build a purpose-driven commerce venture from the ground up.

The selected candidate will work across multiple functions including product sourcing, retail development, marketplace operations, partnerships, and growth strategy, gaining exposure to building a large-scale impact commerce platform.

Responsibilities

1. Venture Building & Operations

• Work with the leadership team to build and scale the Earthikaa marketplace and retail operations.
• Contribute to setting up systems, processes, and operational frameworks for sourcing, merchandising, logistics, and retail.

2. Producer & Supply Ecosystem Development

• Identify and engage with SHGs, FPOs, artisan clusters, and social enterprises across India.
• Build networks of community enterprises producing high-quality products for retail and digital markets.

3. Product & Market Development

• Support the development of Earthikaa product collections across crafts, lifestyle, food products, apparel, and cause merchandise.
• Identify opportunities for new product categories and market expansion.

4. Retail & Marketplace Expansion

• Assist in the development of Earthikaa flagship retail stores and online marketplace operations.
• Work with teams to ensure strong product catalogue, inventory flow, and customer experience.

5. Partnerships & Growth

• Identify partnerships with NGOs, producer collectives, design institutions, and impact organisations.
• Support development of corporate gifting programmes and institutional sales channels.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in startups, social enterprises, consulting, rural enterprise development, retail, or marketplace platforms.
• Strong interest in building ventures, impact commerce, and rural market linkages.
• Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Comfortable working across multiple functions and building new initiatives from scratch.
