About the Position

The Manager – CSR Programs will lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and management of CSR initiatives across multiple thematic areas including education, healthcare, civil infrastructure, agriculture, livelihoods, waste management, environment, and sustainability.

This role requires strong capabilities in program implementation, stakeholder management, proposal development, monitoring & evaluation, and team leadership, along with extensive field engagement.

Responsibilities

1. Program Planning & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end implementation of CSR projects across sectors such as:

1. Education
2. Healthcare
3. Livelihoods & skilling
4. Agriculture & watershed
5. Waste management & bio-composting
6. Environment & sustainability (eco-villages, climate initiatives)
7. Civil infrastructure & community development

• Develop detailed implementation plans, timelines, and work plans aligned with CSR objectives
• Ensure timely delivery, quality execution, and impact-oriented outcomes
• Track program milestones, outputs, and outcomes

2. Proposal Development & Budgeting

• Prepare concept notes, detailed proposals, budgets, and presentations for corporates and foundations
• Support project costing, budget tracking, and utilization planning
• Ensure financial discipline and compliance with CSR guidelines and partner requirements

3. Stakeholder Management & Government Liaisoning

1. Act as a key coordination point for CSR clients and partners
2. Engage with:

• Corporate CSR teams
• Foundations
• NGOs & implementation partners
• Government departments & Panchayati Raj Institutions

1. Build strong relationships and ensure smooth coordination for project execution
2. Represent the organization in stakeholder meetings, reviews, and field discussions

4. Program Planning & Cross-functional Coordination

1. Develop:

• Program work plans
• Implementation schedules
• Monitoring frameworks

1. Coordinate with internal teams including:

• Impact Practice
• Finance
• Communications
• Platform teams

1. Ensure seamless execution across all program components

5. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• Track project progress through defined KPIs, outputs, and outcomes
• Conduct field visits, monitoring reviews, and quality checks
• Ensure:

1. Timely reporting to CSR partners
2. Data collection, validation, and MIS management
3. Impact reporting and documentation

• Prepare:

1. Progress reports
2. Dashboards
3. Presentations
4. Case studies and impact stories

6. Team Management & Capacity Building

• Manage and mentor project teams, field coordinators, and partners
• Conduct regular review meetings and performance tracking
• Support capacity building and training initiatives for teams and partners

7. Research & Knowledge Management

• Conduct baseline, need assessments, and sectoral research
• Identify best practices, innovative models, and scalable interventions
• Contribute to knowledge documentation and organizational learning

8. Travel & Field Engagement

• Undertake extensive field travel across project locations
• Engage with communities for participatory planning and implementation

9. Other Responsibilities

• Support audits, compliance, and organizational reviews
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and program improvements
• Take up additional responsibilities as required

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Management, Public Policy, or related fields

Experience & Skills

5–8 years of experience in:

1. CSR program management
2. Development sector implementation
3. Multi-stakeholder coordination

Strong skills in:

1. Project management & execution
2. Stakeholder engagement & partnerships
3. Proposal writing & budgeting
4. Monitoring & evaluation (M&E)
5. MIS, reporting, and documentation

Ability to manage multi-location projects and teams

Willingness to travel extensively
