About the Position

We are looking for a Manager – Content & Communications to lead content creation and narrative building for One Purpos Voices.

This role will focus on developing powerful storytelling and leadership conversations from across the purpose ecosystem — including CEOs, CSR leaders, philanthropists, social innovators, policy leaders, and grassroots changemakers.

The role will involve editorial leadership, multimedia storytelling, and platform management to ensure One Purpos Voices becomes one of India’s most influential impact communication platforms.

Responsibilities

1. Editorial & Storytelling Leadership

• Develop and manage the editorial roadmap for One Purpos Voices.
• Create compelling long-form and short-form stories highlighting leaders, organizations, and impact initiatives.
• Write and edit interviews, opinion pieces, insights, and impact narratives.
• Build thematic storytelling around Purpose Economy trends, CSR innovations, climate action, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship.

2. Leadership Conversations & Interviews

• Curate and conduct high-quality interviews and leadership conversations with:

1. Corporate CSR and ESG leaders
2. Philanthropic foundations
3. Government leaders
4. Social entrepreneurs and innovators

• Convert conversations into articles, podcasts, and short-form video stories.

3. Multimedia Content Development

• Lead creation of podcasts, short videos, reels, and visual storytelling content.
• Coordinate with video editors and design teams for production.
• Ensure consistent quality across written, video, and audio content formats.

4. Platform & Content Management

• Manage the One Purpos Voices digital platform including publishing workflows.
• Maintain editorial calendar and coordinate with internal teams for story pipelines.
• Ensure SEO optimization and high discoverability of content.

5. Community & Ecosystem Engagement

• Build relationships with impact leaders, organizations, and institutions for story collaborations.
• Identify emerging narratives across CSR, sustainability, social innovation, and philanthropy.
• Facilitate content collaborations with partners, researchers, and sector experts.

6. Social Media & Distribution

• Lead content dissemination across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and newsletters.
• Develop creative formats such as:

1. Thought-leadership carousels
2. Short impact stories
3. Leadership quote reels
4. Podcast snippets

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
• Ability to translate complex development themes into clear, engaging storytelling.
• Experience in interviewing leaders and producing long-form editorial content.
• Understanding of CSR, sustainability, philanthropy, and development sector ecosystems.
• Experience working with multimedia storytelling formats (podcasts, videos, reels).
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Comfortable working with designers, videographers, and social media teams.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related fields.
