About the Position

BharatCares is looking for a passionate and field-oriented Project Coordinator – CSR & Health Programs to lead the implementation of the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Program focused on maternal and child healthcare for pregnant and lactating women in Bharuch district.

The role requires strong capabilities in public health project implementation, stakeholder coordination, team management, budgeting, monitoring, and government liaison to ensure effective delivery of healthcare services at the grassroots level.

Responsibilities

1. Project Implementation & Program Management

• Lead end-to-end implementation of the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) project across assigned blocks in Bharuch district.
• Develop and execute public health and CSR project plans aligned with project objectives and timelines.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly project planning, review meetings, and progress tracking with the team.
• Ensure smooth execution of field activities, awareness sessions, health camps, and beneficiary outreach.

2. Stakeholder Management & Government Liaison

• Coordinate closely with Taluka Health Officers, government departments, healthcare institutions, and local stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, CSR partners, vendors, and implementation stakeholders.
• Represent BharatCares in meetings with government bodies and local authorities.
• Work actively from/with the Taluka Health Office setup as required for project coordination.

3. Team Supervision & Capacity Building

• Supervise and guide MMU team members, healthcare staff, and field coordinators.
• Support the team in designing and conducting awareness sessions and community engagement activities.
• Ensure strong coordination between field teams, healthcare providers, and project stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and solution-oriented work environment.

4. Budgeting, Monitoring & Documentation

• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization to ensure effective implementation.
• Ensure timely and accurate data capturing, MIS reporting, and project documentation.
• Develop reporting mechanisms aligned with government and donor requirements.
• Maintain detailed project records, case studies, and impact reports.

5. Field Coordination & Problem Solving

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities and service delivery quality.
• Troubleshoot operational and implementation challenges in coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensure beneficiary tracking, referral support, and timely service delivery under the MMU program.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism while working in dynamic field environments.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

• Strong understanding of public health and CSR project implementation
• Experience in stakeholder management and government coordination
• Good budgeting, reporting, and documentation skills
• Strong communication, leadership, and team management abilities
• Ability to work in field-based and government setup environments
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS, and reporting tools
