About the Position

The Sr. Manager – Skills & Livelihoods will lead end-to-end program strategy, implementation, partnerships, and operational management for CSR and development sector projects focused on skilling, entrepreneurship, employability, and women-led livelihood initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, budgeting, proposal development, team handling, and program execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

Program Strategy & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end implementation of livelihood, women empowerment, and skilling programs across multiple locations.
• Develop execution strategies, operational frameworks, and implementation roadmaps for projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, quality standards, and allocated budgets.
• Monitor field operations, project milestones, and impact outcomes regularly.

Skills & Livelihood Program Management

• Manage projects related to vocational training, entrepreneurship, employability, self-help groups, and women-led enterprises.
• Support development of market-linked skilling interventions and livelihood models.
• Drive training quality, placement linkages, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for beneficiaries.
• Work closely with field teams and partners for effective implementation.

Stakeholder Management & Partnerships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with CSR partners, government departments, NGOs, training agencies, and community institutions.
• Coordinate with donors, corporates, and implementation partners for smooth project execution.
• Represent BharatCares in client meetings, review forums, and strategic discussions.
• Strengthen partnerships for scaling impact initiatives.

Budgeting & Resource Allocation

• Manage project budgets, utilization planning, and resource allocation across programs.
• Ensure financial tracking, compliance, and proper utilization of project funds.
• Coordinate with finance and operations teams for budget monitoring and reporting.
• Support cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead and mentor project managers, coordinators, trainers, and field teams.
• Conduct performance reviews, capacity-building sessions, and regular team meetings.
• Ensure effective coordination across departments and project teams.
• Build a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance work culture.

Proposal Writing & Onboarding New Clients

• Lead preparation of proposals, concept notes, budgets, and CSR presentations.
• Support fundraising and partnership opportunities for livelihood and skilling projects.
• Conduct research on emerging trends, government schemes, and sector opportunities.
• Contribute to program innovation and strategic growth initiatives.

Reporting, Documentation & Monitoring

• Prepare detailed project reports, presentations, impact assessments, and case studies.
• Track KPIs, beneficiary outcomes, and project performance metrics.
• Ensure proper MIS reporting, documentation, and compliance management.
• Support monitoring & evaluation activities and donor reporting requirements.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

• Strong experience in skilling, livelihoods, women empowerment, or CSR programs
• Expertise in program management and multi-stakeholder coordination
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Excellent proposal writing, reporting, and presentation abilities
• Team management and leadership experience
• Strong understanding of grassroots implementation and community engagement
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•  Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MIS, and reporting tools
•   Willingness to travel extensively as per project requirements

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working with CSR-funded or government-supported skilling/livelihood programs.
• Exposure to women entrepreneurship, vocational training, employability, or SHG ecosystem preferred.
• Candidates with strong field implementation and stakeholder engagement experience will be preferred.
