About the Position

The Sr. Associate – Government PMU will support the execution of CSR initiatives and government engagement activities. The role demands strong coordination, documentation, and relationship management skills, with a focus on on-ground implementation support, stakeholder follow-ups, and data-driven reporting.

Responsibilities

1. CSR Strategy & Program Design

• Work with corporates to co-create impactful CSR strategies aligned with business objectives and national development priorities.
• Conduct community needs assessments and baseline studies to inform project design.
• Develop concept notes, proposals, and impact frameworks for CSR initiatives.

2. Project Management & Implementation

• Coordinate end-to-end project implementation with NGOs, vendors, and field teams.
• Track progress through detailed MIS and monitoring dashboards.
• Ensure quality delivery, budget compliance, and timely reporting.

3. Government Liaison & Stakeholder Engagement

• Identify and build relationships with key government departments (state, district, or national level) relevant to CSR focus areas.
• Facilitate MoUs, joint initiatives, or convergence models between corporates and government bodies.
• Represent the organization in government forums, policy roundtables, or district/state review meetings.

4. Research, Documentation & Compliance

• Conduct policy research, CSR law updates, and government scheme mapping.
• Prepare knowledge products such as case studies, whitepapers, and best-practice documentation.
• Ensure compliance with CSR regulations (Section 135, Schedule VII, etc.) and internal donor reporting norms.

5. Relationship Management

• Liaise with CSR heads, corporate foundations, and government officers to maintain strong working relationships.
• Coordinate donor visits, field assessments, and stakeholder meetings.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related domains.
• 2–3 years of experience in education programs, CSR projects, government advisory setups, program implementation or development consulting.
• Mandatory: Experience working with government departments or government-led programs.
• Familiarity with CSR laws, key government schemes, and development sector themes (education, health, skilling, etc.).
• Strong analytical ability, documentation expertise, interpersonal, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort with fieldwork and working in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of data tools (like Google Sheets, Airtable, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills in Marathi / Hindi and English.
• Willingness to travel for field assessments, meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
