About the Position

The Associate Manager — Sustainable Civil Infrastructure will support the planning, coordination, and execution of CSR-supported public infrastructure and water-related civil works projects across multiple locations.

The role will involve managing projects such as:

• Renovation and strengthening of government schools and healthcare facilities
• Construction of check dams and small water conservation structures
• Development of WASH infrastructure in institutions and communities
• Other community and sustainability-linked civil infrastructure projects

The role requires a civil engineer with hands-on project coordination and site execution experience, capable of working with contractors, implementation partners, local authorities, and CSR teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Public Infrastructure Projects

Support execution of civil works including:

• School building renovation and upgrades
• Hospital infrastructure improvement
• WASH infrastructure in schools and communities
• Construction of check dams and water conservation structures

Assist in preparing:

• drawings and technical specifications
• BOQs and cost estimates
• project timelines and execution plans

Monitor quality, safety, and adherence to design specifications.

Field Coordination & Execution

Coordinate with:

• contractors and vendors
• implementation partners
• local government bodies
•  field engineers and supervisors

Conduct site visits and track project milestones.Support troubleshooting during project execution.

Sustainability & CSR Alignment

Ensure infrastructure projects align with:

• CSR program objectives
• sustainability considerations
• community needs and usability

Support integration of water conservation and climate-resilient infrastructure practices.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain:

• site documentation
• progress reports
• measurement records
• completion documentation

Support proposal development for civil infrastructure–focused CSR programs.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in:

• Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil infrastructure or construction project execution
• Experience in public infrastructure, WASH, or water structure projects preferred
• Experience working with contractors and field teams is important
• Exposure to CSR or development sector projects is an advantage
