Microland Marks Countdown to 37th Anniversary with Employee Walkathon
Microland marked the countdown to its 37th anniversary by bringing together more than 220 employees for the inaugural ML37 Walkathon, a 3.7-kilometre walk celebrating wellbeing, community, and connection across the organization.
Held at the company's Bengaluru campus, the initiative brought employees from different teams, functions, and levels together for a shared experience that encouraged movement, engagement, and meaningful interactions beyond day-to-day work.
The walkathon reflects Microland's ongoing commitment to building a people-centric workplace where employee wellbeing, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging remain central to its culture.
At a time when organizations are increasingly connected through technology, opportunities that enable employees to connect personally continue to play an important role in strengthening relationships and fostering a cohesive workplace environment.
The event served as a reminder that culture is often built through shared experiences outside meetings, projects, and deadlines. It also reinforced the values that have shaped Microland's journey over the past 37 years through the theme of ‘Work – Connect – Celebrate’ in this walkathon.
As the company approaches its 37th anniversary, the ML37 Walkathon symbolized not only the distance Microland has travelled as an organization but also the shared journey of the people who continue to shape its future.
37 Years. 3.7 Kilometres. One Stronger Microland.
