Our organization has taken several initiatives to empower women by providing livelihood training and organizing community awareness programs.

Objectives-

• To empower women; i.e. political, social, and economic.
• To empower women by providing vocational training and guidance to make fair decisions for themselves and their families.
• Promoting the fulfillment of women's potential through education, skill development, and employment.
• Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the knowledge, skills, and self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process

Activities-

• Identification of the community center to conduct vocational training training-related activities (Centre identification with the help of other NGOs, and other networking sources of the organization to find a minimum and decent place to conduct vocational training, feasible to the community with good connectivity).
• Staff recruitment for the vocational course from advertisement, interview, and staff hiring. (Staff recruitment will be done with help of job networking sites, and advertisements in the local newspaper to find suitable and good candidates for the position. Hiring will be done with the help of education, experience, and team handling; nature of the person).
• Strategy Community mobilization to mobilize needy students for the batch. (Community mobilization will be done with the help of pamphlets, brochures, hoardings, banners, networking meetings with NGOs, manuals, SHGs, ICDS workers, and ASHA workers working in the local area, and promotion through local cable advertisement).
• Students enrolment for the batch (Students enrollment will begin with center inquiry, 10 to 15 days’ time will be kept to fill the batch at its full capacity and then the batch will commence post 15 days of time).
• Later exams and awarding course certification (One criterion will be followed to award the certificate; who will attend 80% of classes, and passes all exams with a minimum of 40 marks will be awarded the certificate).
• Career counseling will be done as per the interest of students.
• Job placement service will be given at the community center level to ease students’ job hunt (Job placement will be done by networking with BPOs, call centers, malls, office base jobs, etc.).

 Strategy-

• Courses will be conducted by the Aarine foundation independently, but mobilization or batch-filling process will be done with other NGOs’ collaboration. Other organizations will not be financially involved they will extend their support voluntarily.   
• Brainstorming, proposal making, and later stage application for funds (fundraising) activity.
• Collaborations with like-minded organizations for course promotion, mobilization, and conducting a batch.
• Students mobilization for the batch will be done with the help of groups help group, local mandals, ASHA workers, ICDS workers, local NGOs, etc. staff recruitment.
• One batch will be of at least 10 students and a maximum of 15 per batch.
• Lowest fees and small installment structure so students should not feel the burden of fees (50% less than market price)
• Career counseling for students to prepare for jobs, market competitiveness, and choose the career path.
• Job placement will be offered free for those students who completed courses from the Aarine foundation in the NMC companies, malls, call centers BPOs, and other job sources.

The “Aarine foundation’’ has been working in the skill development area from the beginning of the organization. And the organization has been able to produce well-groomed and skilled students in the Ghansoli and a few parts of Navi Mumbai. At the Aarine foundation currently, we have 3 tailoring trainers, 2 computer trainers, 1 mehendi and nail art trainer, 1English trainer, 1 school tuition teacher, and 1 mobilizer. The first aim of the proposal is to sustain the program and produce more skilled youngsters. 

We are proposing the 3 vocational training centers to cater to skill development in the Navi Mumbai and thane belt which is far reachable with the least presence of vocational training in the area.  Trained and skilled youth always have better opportunities in the market.
