During the Financial year, Cognizant Foundation supported 14 projects in the area of healthcare, 17 projects in education and 11 projects in livelihood, influencing over 1,72,000 lives.

CF continued its Rebuilding Communities Program (RCP) for the rehabilitation of 15 communities affected by natural calamities. These projects and programmeswere implemented in states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal. In the area of education, CF has been focusing on providing scholarship for higher education and digital learning and STEM education. Scholarships also awarded for graduate study in Computer Science to promote excellence and for visually impaired students to promote inclusive education. Under digital learning and STEM education, CF has been facilitating access to quality science and technology education and vocational education and capacity building in vocational institutions.

In the area of livelihood, focus of CF was in providing short-term skills training programme to empower and enable disadvantaged youth, women and persons with disabilities for gainful employment. Skilling provided in engineering, retail & hospitality, ITES, apparel industry, and home nursing.

Quality Healthcare for the UnderprivilegedIn the area of healthcare, CF continues to focus mainly on preventing avoidable blindness and promoting women and child health. CF has been focusing on preventing childhood blindness through school screening eye programme and screening and treatment of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) and providing quality eye health to underserved communities through the setting up of Vision Centers and provision of state-of-the-art equipment for eye care. In the area of promoting women and child health, CF has been working to provide quality and timely care to underserved women and children through the provision of state-of-the-art medical equipment to non-profit healthcare institutions working in this area.
