The company works closely with farmers including those involved animal husbandry to counsel them on best practices and improve their overall income. It also conduct regular training programmes in villages for vocational training and skill development. Since 2014, Grasim has partnered with BAIF, Pune and Somnath Trust, KVK, to support animal husbandry farmers earn a sustainable livelihood. Through this initiative, it was able to cover 2,500 farmers in 74 villages, conducting capacity building training, animal health and vaccination drives, cattle insurance, vermi compost among others. Together the interventions have resulted in an income increase of ₹3,000 - ₹4,000 per cattle.
