Agriculture is the backbone of the economy in most of our neighbouring communities. Given the pre-eminence of agriculture for sustainable local livelihoods the Samadhan Project has been launched to ensure sustainable livelihood through integrated farming systems and livestock development. Over 7000 families have been covered under this project.By 2020 Samadhan will positively impact the lives of more than 30,000 farming families living near HZL operations SAMADHAN is being implemented in partnership with Bharatiya Agro Industries Foundation (BAIF). Interventions include Wadi development (horticulture), improved farming practices for vegetables and staple grains, rain water harvesting, cattle and goat breed Improvement, etc.
