Chaitanya Projects Consultancy Limited (CPCL), a leading infrastructure consultancy firm, has established three libraries in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) primary schools in South Shahdara under Project Pustakalaya as part of its commitment to supporting educational development and community empowerment. Implemented in collaboration with Anandaya Foundation, the initiative aims to strengthen foundational learning by providing students with dedicated spaces that encourage reading, creativity, and exploration.
The libraries were inaugurated in the presence of Shri Nikhil Tiwari, Director (Education), MCD, along with Mr. Anil Kumar, DDE (R&E), and Ms. Rupa Sinha, Executive Director, Chaitanya Projects Consultancy Limited. School principals, teachers, and students also participated in the event.
Designed as engaging learning environments, the newly established libraries offer children access to a diverse collection of books across subjects and interests. During the inauguration, students enthusiastically explored the bookshelves and reading corners, reflecting the positive impact such spaces can have on young learners.
For many educators, the initiative marked the realization of a long-standing aspiration. One of the school principals shared that the school community had eagerly awaited a library of its own, underscoring the value of creating enriching educational spaces beyond the classroom. Students also expressed excitement about having a dedicated place to discover new ideas and engage with books.
