Winner of 3 CSR Leadership Awards, Vishal leads the CSR function at Dalmia Bharat Group and is also the CEO of Dalmia Bharat Foundation. He started his career with MoRD of Government of India and later worked in the Not-for-profit sector before getting in to the private sector. He has spent a large part of his career spanning around two-and-a-half decades in the Cement sector. He is a certified sustainability assessor of the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development and has been on several committees of the Business Associations like FICCI and CII from time to time. Vishal holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and a diploma in CSR from the Swedish Institute of Management, Stockholm. He has also attended several Management Development Programmes at various prestigious Management Institutes like SPJIMR, ISB et al.
Niraj heads CSR function of the company, responsible for conceptualisation, formulation of strategies and management of the programmes aimed at addressing the societal issues in Urban India. The present engagement is in an ambitious Educational programme aimed to improve the quality of education for the poor children in Ahmedabad and influence positively their future earning streams with the help of local industry and the government.
Neelima Khetan, Managing Partner of Nous Consultants, is a senior CSR and Social Sector expert. She has over 3 decades of experience in this space, having worked with leading for-profit and non-profit organizations in the country. Her current affiliations include Visiting Fellow with Centre for Social and Economic Progress (earlier called Brookings India) and Visiting Faculty with Chandragupta Institute of Management, Patna. Earlier, Neelima has been the Group CSR Head for Vedanta Group, where she provided oversight and guidance to the CSR efforts of 11 business units of the Group, located across India and Africa. She was also (concurrently) Vice President, CSR at Hindustan Zinc (part of Vedanta Group).
Narendranath has been with PRADAN since 1989. He has served in many senior management positions, including leading the embedded cell with the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). He was appointed the Executive Director of PRADAN in 2017. He received a degree in mechanical engineering from Kerala University and a PGDRM from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). He lives in New Delhi with his spouse and daughter.
Mr. Bharat Kakade is Executive Vice President of BAIF, an Indian NGO working for rural livelihood through sustainable management of natural resources for last 52 years with a spread of its work in 15 Indian states, 90000 villages covering over 4.5 million rural poor families. Member, Planning and Review Committee, National Institute of Hydrology, Govt. of India; Member of Working Group on Water Mission, Dept of Water Resources, Govt. of India.
Pankaj Anand is the Director of Programme & Advocacy at Oxfam India. He is a professional with over two decades of rich, relevant and varied experience in programme management, advocacy and resource mobilisation in India and South Asia. He has worked on a wide canvas of issues including Public Health, Gender, Citizen Action, Governance, Sustainable Development and the issues of Dalits, Adivasis and other marginalised social groups. He understands that engaging with the government, donors, CSOs, academia and media is the key to attaining a discrimination free society based on the ideals of equality, inclusion and justice. In Oxfam India as well in his other roles previously, Pankaj has led the institutional funding work and in the process he has keenly watched the changing institutional donor architecture over the years.
