Nirmallya Mandal, with a background in Economics and Post Graduate in Rural Management (Rural Marketing and Rural Development) has more than 17 years of experience in enterprise promotion for FPOs and MSMEs, Social Research especially Value Chain Analyses, CSR, Strategy Formulation and Implementation of Agriculture and NTFP based Livelihoods Promotion programmes, Project Management and Capacity Building. With a previous background of implementing Microfinance systems and later providing management consultancy to various state governments, bilateral projects, funding agencies like World Bank, NABARD, GIZ, IFAD, UNDP, Worldfish etc.
Dr. Dhanalakshmi Ramachandra is a Plant Physiologist by training and comes with 15 years of rich experience in the corporate world. After twelve years of active research in Biotechnology and data sciences, she shifted her domain to carve out a niche in the field of CSR. With her passion for the community, she brings with her a deep understanding of issues related to smallholder farmers, women empowerment and livelihood challenges amongst others.
Pratyush is a CSR & Impact Investment professional with 25 years of experience out of which most of his time he has worked for CARE India for 10 years and over 12 years in Corporate Social Responsibilities. He has done Masters in Sociology and MBA (Rural Management) from XIM, Bhubaneswar. In 2019 Pratyush has received "Scroll of Honour" award from XIM-Bhubaneswar. In March 2020 Pratyush got certified by WHO as a Covid-19 Operational Manager. Presently he is working as Vice President & Head Corporate Social Responsibility, ACC Limited and based out at Mumbai and serving about a million lives every year. Some of his published articles are HR-CSR Integration, Human Right Audits beyond compliance, Social Audit in CSR, Community based “Solid Waste Management”, Taking sustainable living to India’s grass root, Drought mitigation in Marathwada, #SaveKidsLives and Biodiversity for Industrial Sustainability have received many accolades and awards.
Dr. Arun R Joshi a development professional with over 36 years professional experience in agribusiness management, development academics, development management, is a Ph D. in Agriculture with MBA in Project Management. He has wide exposure to rural and urban development and worked with many organizations including UNDP. He has over 40 research publication in journals of both national and international. He has been pioneered in Participatory Technology Development, Participatory Plant Breeding, Participatory varietal Selection and Promotion, and developing Farmer Producers’ Companies.
Ms. Alka Talwar currently holds the position of Chief - CSR and Sustainability Officer at Tata Chemicals Limited. She oversees all sustainability initiatives and disclosures for the company, promoting “Responsible Manufacturing” across geographies and the value chain. She also leads the diversity & inclusion and social development programs that include projects on natural resource management, environment conservation, rural energy, sustainable livelihoods and empowerment.
