Non profit Masterclass: Planning for future in an environment of high uncertainty By Bridgespan

Shashank Rastogi is a principal in Bridgespan’s Mumbai office. Shashank has more than 15 years of experience in impact investing, social entrepreneurship, and rural markets. At Bridgespan, he has worked on projects in agriculture technology (Agtech), rural primary health in tribal areas, and scenario planning for NGOs. In his prior experience, Shashank set up and developed the impact investing practice in CIIE.CO, at IIM Ahmedabad, investing in companies in a range of sectors including rural energy access, agriculture and agtech, and health. He was also the co-founder and chief operating officer of Sarvajal. Shashank holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad and a B.Tech (Electronics & Communications) from IIT Roorkee.

Akshay Gambhir is a consultant in Bridgespan’s Mumbai office. Akshay has more than six years of experience in consulting, banking, and social impact. At Bridgespan, he has worked on philanthropic collaboratives in India, impact assessment, development of healthcare CSR strategy, capacity of nonprofits in scenario planning. Before Bridgespan, Akshay has helped build market linkage models for rural livelihood initiatives and led scale up of fisheries-based livelihood interventions at Tata Trusts. Prior to entering social impact, he worked at McKinsey Knowledge Center. Akshay holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Lucknow and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from CBS, Delhi University
