Mr Gautam is currently Head of Crafts at the Tata Trusts. Sharda’s area of expertise lies in rural livelihoods - he is passionate about skill development of rural youth and strongly believes that rural producer collectives are the key to solving rural poverty and rural to urban migration. Prior to his role at the Tata Trusts, he was Executive Director of The Handloom School from 2015 to 2017. He has been working in the domain of non-agrarian livelihoods, renewable energy and crafts for over 10 years. Sharda is a Gold Medalist from IRMA (Institute of Rural Management Anand), has studied Mechanical Engineering from NIT- Surat, as well as being a recipient of the Amul-TATA Scholarship.’ He is also 2017 Acumen Regional Fellow.
Mr Sanjeev Kumar has 23 years of experience in the development sector on Grass root Livelihoods and Rural financial services /Rural Entrepreneurship & micro-enterprise promotion. Founded organisation: The Goat trust – in 2008 – Working in 16 Indian States as a technical Resource organization with over 85 partners including 6 large projects with State governments. NN Breeds & Seeds India Pvt Ltd – A social enterprise working on Livestock E-commerce in the name of PashuBajaar, launched Goat milk and goat milk cosmetics. Mobilised equity of Rs 120 lakh. Co-founded TGT Global Development services Pvt Ltd in 2016 to build a large training platform /regional centres network to ensure quality training for small livestock at an affordable cost. Founded International Institute of Goat Management (IIGMA) to launch First Course in Livestock Business Management for low formally educated Rural youths and launching PG Diploma in Livestock Business Management at Deoghar campus by 2022. Presently building Livestock product market through an E-commerce platform and goat milk products. Academically Post Graduate in Dairying from National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI)
Sujana has more than two decades of experience in the development sector spanning livelihoods, labour rights in the informal sector and governance. She has had the opportunity to work with communities across the country from Himachal Pradesh to Tamil Nadu and most recently Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. She is part of the team that has moved Under The Mango Tree Society"s beekeeping with indigenous bees programme from a concept note to one that won the World Bank Development Marketplace award for being among the most innovative programmes in rural development to more recently, the prestigious HCL Grant in the Environment category. Sujana has degrees from two of India"s premier educational institutes, JNU and Gokhale Institute, Pune.
