Maya Vengurlekar leads the CRISIL Foundation. In her current role, as Chief Operating Officer, Maya oversees CRISIL’s CSR initiatives pertaining to financial inclusion, women’s empowerment, and environment conservation. Maya also leads Marketing and Communications at CRISIL Limited which covers Brand Marketing and Management, Integrated Marketing Strategy and, Media and Corporate Communications. She joined CRISIL in 2002, gained domain expertise in Ratings, culminating in her role as Head – Business Development at CRISIL Ratings. Maya then took on a role as Senior Director – Marketing and Investor Outreach, where she steered initiatives to establish CRISIL’s thought leadership with market participants, investors, regulatory bodies and policy-making institutions, and to develop India’s corporate bond market. Maya has a Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University and an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
