Devanshi has done her MBA in rural management and has extensive experience in working on the ground with the community. She has worked on several government and development projects on themes like poverty alleviation, financial inclusion of women, and skill development of underprivileged youth. Having worked in the development sector, she understood the importance of education and specifically EdTech in today's times. Hence she joined EdTech unicorns like Unacademy and now BYJU'S, since education is an area that is close to her heart and she believes it is the strongest tool for changing the world. She leads various Social Initiatives projects at BYJU’S; Education For All being the flagship program, under which free-of-cost BTLA licenses are issued to students from the underprivileged sections of society. Having extensive experience working in the social sector, her role at BYJU'S Social Initiatives Vertical begins with program design and includes execution, monitoring, and assessment. She primarily works towards identifying innovative solutions for improving access to learning opportunities for underprivileged students. Her role is divided into the following three main areas: Project Management: Strategizing, developing, and executing education development projects and conducting periodic program reviews to assess impact and effectiveness. Product Management: Working with engineering and other cross-functional teams to ideate and develop products and features that are best suited to the audience. Operations and Partner Outreach: Due diligence and onboarding of NGOs and social sector organizations that are prospective clients for BYJU'S offering. With direct client/customer interaction, she has a fair understanding of customer centricity and develops business solutions that cater to specific customer needs. She manages a network of 100+NGOs with a reach of almost 4 million students.
