From the 510 companies covered under the research, the overall estimated prescribed CSR for FY 2021-22 came out to be INR 13706 Cr. 

Around 64% of the companies have prescribed CSR of INR 1 to 25 Cr. whereas 6.5% and 8.2% of them have more than INR 100 Cr. and between INR 25 to 50 Cr. respectively.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implies a concept whereby companies voluntarily contribute to a better society and a cleaner environment.
